China Classification Society (CCS) issued AIP Certificate to Chongqing Cuntan International Cruise Home Port Development Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant Co., Ltd. (WMMP).

Recently, China Classification Society (CCS) Wuhan Branch issued the port machinery AIP certificates for the passenger transportation process system equipment and intelligent control system project of Cuntan International Cruise Home Port in the main urban port area of Chongqing Port to Chongqing Cuntan International Cruise Home Port Development Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant Co., Ltd. (WMMP). Leaders from CCS Wuhan Branch, Chongqing Cuntan International Cruise Home Port Development Co., Ltd., WMMP, etc. attended the certificate-awarding ceremony.

The global first port engineering passenger transportation process system equipment and intelligent control system engineering project jointly developed by the above two companies and CCS was released. The project will be applied to the Cuntan International Cruise Home Port Project in the main urban port area of Chongqing Port.

This scheme has changed the boarding and disembarking methods of passengers at original cruise ports with large water level differences in inland rivers, and improved the comfort and safety of boarding and disembarking passengers at international cruise ports with large water level difference. At the same time, the digitization and intelligence of the equipment will lay a solid foundation for port digitization.

This CCS AIP certificate has provided strong technical support for the successful implementation of the project. In addition, this scheme can be widely promoted and applied to other inland cruise home ports with large water level difference, which has good demonstration significance for the engineering upgrading and renovation of domestic and international inland cruise home ports.
